This course will be the perfect combination of fun performances, music education, and the basics of music theory. No previous experience in music? Don’t you worry, this course is designed for beginners.

MINI MUSIC MASTERS

Music is all around us, we just have to listen! Together we will learn how to come up with a melody, lyrics and a beat to write our own songs! We will study musical basic concepts through song and fun activities. Also we will record natural sounds that can be transformed into a beat! Don’t worry if you have no musical background, this course is for beginners and advanced students as well.

Materials needed: Tiny keyboard is fine, if not then a virtual keyboard on a computer, if anyone can play an instrument please get it, (phone) recorder, earphones, music notebook, and pencil.

PIANO LESSONS

Sherry Guindy

This course is piano lessons for beginners. We will learn how to read basic music notes and gain some knowledge about music. Children will learn how to play piano in a fun way and will end up playing one or two songs. After this course children can use this knowledge as a basis to start learning any instrument.

Materials needed: Piano or electric piano.

YOUNG SINGERS

Malak El Husseiny

Young singers will learn the basics of vocal technique and performance. They will explore a repertoire of Disney, and musical theatre favorites. Students will explore and practice singing techniques such as posture, breathing, and different ways to use and project the voice. Each student will choose their own solo piece to work on and develop with the instructor throughout the program. The students will then perform their final pieces to the class.

Materials needed: Access to a computer (preferred) or a mobile device with reliable internet.
