Karima is an avid business development and investment professional, ex (big) corporate, Karima is a recent convert to the startup venture capital world. She kickstarted her career working in market research and business intelligence for the FMCG conglomerate Danone in Paris. Karima later moved to Cairo to work four years in investments and business development for Orascom Development Holding where she extensively covered retail, solar energy projects and education. Karima is now head of Business Development and Investor Relations in Falak Startups where she enables and helps the growth of one of the finest pools of early stage startups in Egypt. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo and a Master's degree in Market Research from Sciences Po Paris in France.
