BOOKCLUB (AGES 5-7)
Book clubs are the perfect way to keep reading, talk about your favorite books and make new friends... and guess what... this summer you can join our book club from wherever you are!!
Materials needed: Books from home or online, blank paper, pencil, crayons, and colored pencils or markers
IT’S STORYTIME!
Enter the world of imagination by joining us in our fun and interactive storytelling class where we will be reading one story a day, whether educational or about valuable life lessons. Each story will be preceded with a topic and vocabulary introduction. Then, we will conclude our class with story-relevant entertaining activities such as virtual board games, crossword puzzles as well as arts and crafts. If you want to improve your children’s verbal proficiency and listening skills as well as expand their creativity this is the class for you.
LETS BUILD YOUR SUMMER STORY
Storytelling is how we understand the world around us. It gives our lives meaning and it connects us to what really matters. Young children struggle with so many emotions that they sometimes find difficult to express, especially in times of crisis when everything around them has changed and is confusing to understand and feel. The 5-day course will guide Kindergarten kids to create their own signature story using instruction, exercises and interactive play.
STORYTELLING
Storytelling is one of the most important skills to teach kids. It helps improve their language skills, develop early literacy skills, instills a love of reading and stirs their imagination. Some children have the knack of picking up real life incidents and creating stories. sharing stories, talking and singing every day helps your child's development in lots of ways. In this course we will be doing different activities that will help kids to tell stories.
Materials needed: Paper, pencil, and colors
WRITE THE RIGHT WAY
This course takes kids through a detailed journey on how to enhance their writing skills learning to love to reading along the way. Hopefully after this course they will be able to find inspiration in all the little things around them!
